No. Hinterland Estates uses a request-to-book workflow so the owner can confirm availability, details, and payment instructions before the reservation is finalized.

What payment methods are supported?

Approved reservations are prepared for PayPal and Venmo payment requests through the PayPal ecosystem once live credentials are connected.

How does check-in work?

Standard check-in is after 3:00 PM and checkout is before 11:00 AM. Exact address, door code, and property-specific arrival details are sent privately by email and are not displayed publicly on the website.

What is the cancellation policy?

For stays under 15 nights, cancellations qualify for a full refund when requested at least 30 days before check-in. You may reschedule your dates with 30 day notice as well, however, it does not change the 30 day clock which begins at the original booking date. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days. Deadline requests must be submitted before 4 PM EST.

Are there extra guest fees?

Rates include up to two guests. A $15 charge per night is added for each guest over two, infants excluded.

What happens after the cancellation deadline?

Hinterland Estates will re-list the dates and refund any nights that rebook. The refund per rebooked night is the lower of the original nightly price or the rebooking rate. Nights that do not rebook cannot be refunded.

Are calendars synchronized?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The platform supports iCal sync, blocks unavailable dates automatically, and exposes an export calendar feed for confirmed direct bookings.

Can rates and fees be changed?

Yes. Base rates, weekend rates, seasonal rules, cleaning fees, taxes, discounts, and minimum stays are modeled for admin management.
